The Handy Pan is designed to be used in kettle style cooking grills (the most common charcoal grill used).
The Handy Pan is installed between the charcoal grate and the bottom of the grill where the air flow holes are located.
The Handy Pan is a round pan about 3.5 inches deep and large enough to catch all the waste generated when cooking.
The Handy Pan has several cone shaped towers that protrude from the bottom of the pan. The cones increase air flow from the bottom of the grill, through the cones to the charcoal bed.
The Ash Catcher collects the water from the charcoal and also from what is being cooked. This has several benefits:
– The air holes in the charcoal grill will not be blocked.
– The life of the grill may be extended by preventing rust from forming when moisture and ash sets in the bottom of the grill.
– The Handy Pan helps reduce the mess on the deck or cooking area from ash.
